Meet Brad
While visiting my brother in the charming town of Bisbee, Arizona, I had a chance encounter with a man named Brad in the laundromat. Little did I know that this chance meeting would lead to a memorable photoshoot and a chance to help build an aspiring model’s portfolio!
Let me set the scene: I'm at the laundromat, minding my own business when I spot Brad. Something about his look caught my eye, and I couldn't help but think,
"This guy really needs to get into modeling."
Encouraging a total stranger to pursue a modeling career is not my everyday small-talk topic of choice, but I decided to approach him, shared my observations, and handed him my business card. Fast forward about two months – I found myself behind my camera with none other than Brad himself.
James Dean Vibe Check
I must commend Brad for taking the leap into the world of modeling and acting. It's not an easy journey, but he's got that drive and determination that sets the stage for success. Our adventure began in a cool spot just outside downtown Bisbee, a place known as Lowell. With its unique buildings, vintage cars, and an old Texaco gas station, it was the perfect backdrop to capture Brad's James Dean vibes.
As a photographer and modeling coach, I like to show my clients poses when they’re at a loss rather than just telling them. I'd often demonstrate poses myself to give Brad a visual, but I also wanted to give him space to get comfortable with the unfamiliar. And boy, did he rise to the occasion! His willingness to embrace the challenge and grow was truly impressive.
Scene Change
Our journey continued as we ventured downtown Bisbee, where Brad donned a sleek suit look that I had suggested for his portfolio. We chose a picturesque spot on some steps to add depth to the shots, and we even brought out a vintage chair to create an artistic, timeless vibe. With each click of the camera, I could see Brad's confidence and potential shining through.
I genuinely believe that Brad has what it takes to make it in the world of modeling and acting. His passion and dedication are evident, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes him. It was a joy for me to help new talent tap further into the creative world that awaits him.
A day in Bisbee turned into an inspiring collaboration with a budding model and actor. You never know who you’ll run into at the laundromat.
