The Dreamiest Wedding

Welcome to one of my favorite shoots: William and Elle. I'm excited to share with you the beautiful story of a very special wedding that I had the absolute honor of capturing.

Picture this: a warm, golden sunset, an incredibly talented and beautiful couple, EARTH DAY, and a family that's as kind as they are interesting. That sums up the love story that is William and Elle.

The Backstory

I first crossed paths with Ian, Elle's brother, during our college days when we were both working at a dude ranch in a small Wyoming town. Who would have thought that our paths would cross again a few years later in sunny Sarasota, Florida?

Ian and his wife, Caroline, had settled down in Sarasota, and that's where Elle and I officially met at one of their legendary house parties. Let me tell you, Elle is an absolute ray of light, and her impeccable sense of style instantly drew me to her. I just knew we were meant to be friends!

The Wedding Day

As my first solo wedding shoot, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with! The Starnes family welcomed me with open arms. They are a treasure trove of talent, kindness, and interesting stories from their travels around the world.

The Couple

Elle is not only a beautiful soul but also a gifted artist who has explored the world far and wide.

William is a professional basketball coach who speaks Mandarin. Talk about an interesting pair! Their love story is a testament to the incredible journeys life can take you on.

Elle was the most elegant and stunning bride.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking. The decor was as tasteful and stunning as the couple being celebrated. William and Elle were radiant and there were so many beautiful moments sprinkled throughout the ceremony.

Tender Moments

One of the most heartwarming moments I had the privilege of capturing was Elle singing to William at the altar.

As I clicked away, I couldn't help but pinch myself, feeling incredibly blessed to have been chosen to capture this special day. It was my first major solo wedding gig, and the experience pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best possible way. I learned the importance of giving direction and ensuring that every moment was beautifully documented.

In the end, Elle and William's wedding was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. It was a joy to be part of a celebration so full of love, kindness, and class.
