Seeing MTZSTX carve his custom boards
I was flying back home to Florida from Montana to visit family and friends and sat next to which seemed like some cool dudes, turned out they were! Scott and his friend were on a snowboard trip in Colorado flying back home to St. Pete. I asked about their cool shirts they were wearing and turns out Scott designed them. He creates custom surf boards in St. Pete. We are from different areas but turned out we knew some of the same people, small world! Me being me, I asked if I could take some photos of him and he said yes. On my way up to a Tampa Bay Lightning game, I stopped by Scott’s sick shop and got to take some behind the scenes images of the process of making surf boards. It was an experience I will never forget. Taking photos of surf will always be one of my favorite, heart filling moments in time. Thank you Scott for allowing me to see this process and saying yes to the weird girl in the aisle seat.
